Kanata Yumishiro is a violinist, vocalist, and composer known for his unique musical identity that transcends genre boundaries. Blending the refinement of classical music with the raw power of loud rock, he forges a singular path between two contrasting musical worlds.

He graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts, majoring in violin performance.

Starting violin and piano at the age of three, he later taught himself guitar, composition, and singing during his high school years.

In 2017, Kanata launched his career with the band AIOLIN, where he established his distinctive style. As the frontman, he handled vocals, violin, guitar, piano, and was responsible for all songwriting, composition, and arrangement—presenting a deeply original musical world.

Currently active as a solo artist under his own name Kanata Yumishiro, he is also a member of AURORIZE and VIEWON, continuing to expand his artistic reach.

Beyond concerts and live performances, Kanata has appeared in a wide range of projects, including a performance before the Emperor of Japan, numerous commercial music contributions (such as Grand Front Osaka), and studio/live collaborations with various artists.

As a featured artist for YAMAHA’s electric violin YEV, he has performed showcases at major events including the Japan Mobility Show.

In 2024, he held dinner shows at Hotel Kyocera and the Sheraton Hotel.

His YouTube channel features numerous performances of classical masterpieces and other works, with total views now exceeding 2.5 million.
